Heated, purpose-built hides for close, respectful winter photography in comfort and silence.
Prepared for long, quiet sessions
The hides are close to the Red Cabin, reducing movement during short winter days. Each hide is set up for a small group, usually 2-3 guests, so photographers can work calmly with long lenses and stable support.

Briefing first, then calm routines
Arrival and briefing
Guests normally arrive in the afternoon or evening before the first hide day. The local team shows the cabin and hides, answers questions and reviews practical routines. Guests normally walk the short distance from the Red Cabin to the hides themselves.
Inside before sunrise
Golden eagles are shy. Guests must be inside the hides before sunrise and follow the host's instructions about movement, noise, entry and exit.
Equipment and support
A 300-600 mm range is usually the most useful. A 70-200 mm lens can be helpful for wider winter landscapes. Remote or wide-angle setups can be discussed before arrival.
A guide is available by phone during the stay. Longer visits improve the chance of good moments, but winter weather and eagle behaviour can never be guaranteed.
