Booking og Cancellation Terms

These terms explain how a Meådal booking request, confirmation, cancellation og weather-related changes are handled.

Bookingforespørsel og confirmation

The booking form is a request only. A stay is not confirmed until Meådal has checked availability, hide capacity, cabin logistics og practical details, og has confirmed the booking in writing.

Dette gjelder ved direkte forespørsel

• Main season: Januar til midten av mars.
• Earlier winter dates may be requested, depending on snow conditions og local logistics.
• Pris: NOK 2300 per fotograf per dag i fotoskjulet.
• Minimumsopphold: 2 dager i fotoskjulet.
• Kapasitet: normally 1-4 fotografer.
• Overnatting i den røde tømmerhytta knyttet til de bookede dagene i fotoskjulet is included.
• Pickup at Trondheim lufthavn Værnes before the stay og return to the airport after the stay can be arranged for NOK 1200 totalt per gruppe.

Arrival og stay rhythm

Guests normally arrive in the afternoon or evening before the first dag i fotoskjulet. A typical 2-dag i fotoskjulet stay includes 2 nights in the den røde tømmerhytta, unless another arrival or departure plan is agreed in writing.

The local team meets guests at the farm, takes them to the den røde tømmerhytta og hide area on arrival, explains the practical setup, og brings guests back to the farm after the stay.

Payment

Payment details are sent after dates og practical details have been confirmed. Any specific payment deadlines or deposit requirements should be confirmed in writing before the booking is final.

Guest cancellation

If you need to cancel, contact Meådal as early as possible. Any refund, date change or credit depends on the written payment og cancellation details agreed for the confirmed booking, og on costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.

Vær, access og safety

Mountain weather can change quickly. If weather, access, snow conditions or safety make the planned hide stay impractical or unsafe, Meådal may need to change, postpone or cancel part of the arrangement. If this happens, Meådal will try to make a reasonable alternative plan where possible. As of 24 July 2026, Meådal has not had to cancel a stay for this reason, but the possibility must be clear before booking.

Wildlife expectations

Golden eagles are wild birds. Skjul, routines og local knowledge are prepared to give good opportunities, but sightings, light, weather og bird behaviour can never be guaranteed.

Guest responsibility

Guests are responsible for flights, travel documents, travel insurance, food, personal clothing, camera equipment og their own travel plans before og after the Meådal stay unless something else is agreed in writing.

Information sent through the booking form is handled as described in the Personvern.
