How Eagle Hides Work
Quiet routines, heated hides and the practical rhythm of long winter sessions.
The Meådal hides are purpose-built working spaces about 200 metres from the Red Cabin, designed for quiet, low-disturbance photography.
Small groups and quiet routines
Each hide is normally used by 2-3 guests. Guests must be inside before sunrise and follow the host’s instructions about movement, noise, entry and exit.
Inside the hide
The hides have gas heating, simple seating, dry toilet, prepared lens openings, tripod heads and sandbag support for long-lens photography.
Wildlife remains wild
Golden eagles, Siberian jays, ravens and small birds may be seen near the hides. Sightings and behaviour can never be guaranteed.
