Red Cabin and Hide Logistics
Transport, heating, water, toilet, charging and what the Red Cabin means in practice.
The Red Cabin is a simple rural base close to the hides. It is included with the booked hide stay and gives photographers a practical place to prepare, cook and rest.
Cabin facilities
The cabin has wood fire and propane heating, a propane stove for cooking, a generator for charging batteries and laptops, and good mobile connection. There is no Wi-Fi.
Water, washing and toilet
Drinking water and washing water is transported to the cabin. There is no shower; washing is done in a wash basin. The toilet is an outdoor toilet.
Transport and distance
Transport from the farm to the Red Cabin is by snowmobile or ATV when needed. The hides are about 200 metres from the cabin in winter conditions.
